「附中追究単元探訪」その６

学校も再開したから、このコーナーも、もうないかと思っていた皆さん。
まだ、続きますよ。

今回は、英語科の追究単元を探訪しましょう。

突然ですが、皆さん、今年の４月の訪日外国人観光客数が何人だったか知っていますか。
なんと、2900人です。ちなみに昨年の４月は、約290万人です。
コロナの影響で仕方ないところはありますが、集計を始めて以来史上最少の人数だそうです。
またいつか昨年のように年間3000万人以上の外国人観光客が日本を訪れる日が来てほしいですね。
互いの交流、文化、経済のためにも。

では、外国人観光客は日本のどこに訪れたいのでしょう。
生徒は、外国の人に直接聞くために、取材に出かけました。

取材先例…外国人観光客（名古屋城、犬山城付近など）、外国人留学生（大学など）、英会話講師、旅行会社スタッフ

そして、生徒は、“To increase the number of foreign tourists”をテーマに話し合いました。
以下は、授業での発言内容です。

・Foreign tourists think experience they can do only in Japan is attractive. Japanese flowers and food are attractive.
・We have to increase campsites and cheaper hotels. Foreign visitors’ purpose is to see a beautiful nature and eat food.
・Even if one place is not attractive for Japanese, it may be attractive for foreigners. Old Japanese style houses are popular for them.
・Finding good points in the countryside is the most important. We should spread experience-based attractions.
・Foreign students want to go to Ishikawa, Wakayama, Gifu and so on. I think Foreigners like the countryside.
・I was surprised when I heard that foreigners visited Toyama and Yamagata.

生徒のみなさんも、英語を使って日本と外国の違いを実感してみましょう！
